| Working with People that Self-Neglect |
To support professionals to work with individuals (predominantly living in the community) that may be at risk of severe self-neglect. Ensuring that individuals who are neglecting themselves are empowered as far as possible to understand the implications of their actions; building a multi-agency understanding of the issues involved and ensuring agencies and organisations adhere to the key principles of empowerment, protection, prevention, proportionality, partnership and accountability. |
