In this section you will find a range of courses that have been developed to support managers work effectively at West Sussex County Council, in addition to pathways that support Coaching and Change.

Mental Health Knowledge for Managers
To support better conversations about mental health and wellbeing, managers are being encouraged to book onto the Mental Health Knowledge for Managers e-learning. The training will provide you with an introduction to your role as line manager in supporting the mental health of your team, and in developing your ability to have effective conversations about mental health. There are seven modules and should take you approximately 2.5 hours to complete

Change Pathway
It has been developed primarily as a library of resources to support all levels of staff involved in delivering (non-capital) change through projects and continuous improvement activity. The guidance and techniques are adaptable and scalable to most situations, and there are also resources to support staff affected by change.
