We are committed to developing you as a manager at West Sussex County Council. This pathway is designed to provide you with the relevant learning opportunities whether you are undertaking your first management role, an experienced manager or as strategic manager at the council.

What you will find in this Pathway?

This pathway contains a variety of short videos, eLearning, webinars and face to face courses support you undertake your role as a manager, including expectations and requirements being a leader at WSCC as well areas such as performance management, HR, finance, equality & diversity and health and safety.

Qualifications

The council is committed to supporting managers to undertake qualifications through an apprenticeship route. We work with carefully selected providers who will not only deliver to a high standard but will also ensure the councils values, behaviours and expectations are embedded through each programme.
