The contents of the Driver and Delivery Induction pathway are listed below. Please follow the links to start each activity.

Please watch these video's using your own device where possible eg home PC, tablet or mobile phone.  You can access the L&D Gateway via from your home device. Alternatively please watch outside of the peak working times of 8am to 6pm.  This will help to reduce demand on the WSCC network.

Lone Working for Employees E-Learning
(35 Minutes)

This course is for West Sussex County Council employees & volunteers who work alone. The course will raise your awareness of the risks of lone working and assist you in identifying ways to work safely.

Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) Webpage The EAP is offered to all WSCC employees, volunteers and their partner and dependants. It's designed to help you deal with any personal or professional problems which could be affecting your home or work life, health and general wellbeing. 
Safeguarding Adults - Basic Awareness E-Learning
(30 Minutes)
This module is for all staff. It looks at what to do if you or someone you know is experiencing or at risk of being neglected or abused.
Respiratory and Hand Hygiene Webpage There are things you can do to help reduce the risk of you and anyone you live with getting ill with coronavirus.
Driving Safety E-Learning
(30 Minutes) 
The aim of this course is to support you in increasing your awareness of the relevant steps to follow to achieve safer driving.

Manual Handling E-Learning
(20 Minutes)
This covers the essentials of manual handling in the workplace. You will also work through a manual handling process to help you understand a method in which you manually handle a load based on a few key points.

Personal Protective Equipment E-Learning
(5 Minutes)
This video covers the basic skills in donning (putting on) and doffing (taking off) Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) which will reduce the risk of contracting infectious diseases including COVID-19.

Communicating with Respect E-Learning
(15 Minutes)

This module will establish the importance of communicating with your customers in a respectful and productive manner.
