First Aid at Work  
This three day certificated course is for nominated workplace first aiders in all Adult Care Provider Services and West Sussex County Council employees in either Adult or Children services who work with adults. It does not cover child or paediatric first aid. The course comprehensively covers the practical skills needed by first aiders in the work place where they are the nominated first aider and a higher level of first aid training is required.

First Aid Training for Foster Carers (EVENT FULL)  
This full day course is for foster carers and provides the knowledge and skills required to perform First Aid. There is a combination of theory and practical exercises that will enable you to treat children and young people who have suffered accidents and received injuries as a result. This event is strictly for pre-booked, confirmed delegates only. You will not be permitted to attend if you do not have a confirmed booking.

First Aid at Work Requalification  
This 2 day course is for existing nominated workplace first aiders in all the Adult care Provider Services and West Sussex County Council employees in either Adult or Children services who work with adults. It does not cover child or paediatric first aid. It updates the first aid skills of those who need to renew their First Aid at Work certificate (the three day First Aid at Work training). Certificates expire after three years.

Paediatric First Aid  
This two day course is for West Sussex County Council employees who work in Children's Residential Services. It is suitable if you work within Children's services where a risk assessment has indicated that a lower level of first aid training, covering emergency protocols for children and young people is necessary. Ofsted advise that if you look after young people and children up until puberty you should have the Paediatric training and above that Adult First Aid training.
