All members are strongly advised to carry out the following four E-learning modules.

The first two will remind you of the procedures to be followed in the event you are made aware of a safeguarding issue:

It is also important that members have a good understanding of cyber security, GDPR requirements and data protection:

Please note: At the end of each module you will be prompted to 'close' or 'finish' the module. Do not exit the module using the red X until you are told to, otherwise your module completion progress will not be tracked.

Here are links to a few other E-Learning courses that we consider will be helpful to you in fulfilling your member role:
  • Social Media  - This module seeks to support you in exploring how social media has changed the way society interacts and how best to utilise it to the advantage of yourself and your organisation.

  • Public Sector Equality Duty - This short module explains the County Council’s role when it comes to the Equality Duty and specifically the final specific duties regulations which came into force on 10 September 2011.

  • Armed Forces Covenant - This module explains the commitment of the Armed Forces Covenant and how it can be honoured and implemented.  It will give you a better understanding of the Armed Forces Covenant and provide a useful source of information and support.
