This pathway is for all childcare staff working in residential care who are not Social Work qualified. The pathway will guide you through the Learning and Development opportunities available to you in your first two years in post.

The Secrets of Self Harm  
This one day workshop is for relevant staff to develop their understanding of issues related to Self Harm. Some people use self harming behaviour as a coping strategy when life gets unbearable. Fire Safety - An Introduction (WSCC and PVI Care Establishments)  
This interactive, half-day workshop is for all Care Establishment staff and will provide you with an understanding of fire, how it starts and spreads, and the most effective ways of extinguishing different types of fire.
