Continuous Professional Development Pathways for all Adults Social Workers and unregistered staff (Assistant Care Managers)

The below is to provide structure to your Continuous Personal Development, and to help your manager to support you with this, it is to provide you with consistent expectations about the knowledge and skills you should have which is relevant and specific to your grade and area of work.
The Pathways will be linked to appraisals and performance management as they will provide learning opportunities to improve your level of skills and knowledge. The pathways are also linked to professional standards such as the Professional Capabilities Framework (PCF) and Knowledge and Skills Statements (KSS) for social workers and to relevant professional requirements standards such as the HCPC and CQC. 
All new staff

All grade 9 staff new to WSCC First year of employment (not ASYE)
All grade 9 staff - 18 months post-qualified and beyond 
Senior Social Worker
All grade 10 staff with at least 2 years and beyond + post qualifying and after progression to SSW
