West Sussex Children’s Services have been implementing the Signs of Safety model of social work practice since 2013. We see Signs of Safety as being the way we will work with children and families in need of support or protection across the whole of children and young people’s services.

If you are a professional working with children, and would like to know what Signs of Safety training you should be accessing, you can click onto the Continuum of Need table below and this will inform you which is the right training course or pathway for you, depending on which children you work with and at what level.
More information can be found on the Continuum of Need document.
