Using Groups in Mosaic

Event Description This 30 minute online learning module is for West Sussex County Council staff with access to Mosaic. It will introduce you to using the new Group Working function in Mosaic, the benefits of using it, and some of the things you need to consider when using it to record information about the children that you work with.
Training Objectives The aim of this module is to introduce you to how the Groups Function works, the benefits of using it, and some of the things you need to consider when using it to record information about the children that you work with. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt in this module, you will be able to:

  • Have an awareness of the Group Working Function in Mosaic and what it is used for.
  • Be able to distinguish when it is appropriate to use the Group Working function, and when it is not.
  • Be able to identify who should be in a group, and how to set this up on Mosaic.
  • Know how to ‘name’ a group, using the correct naming conventions.
  • Be able to use the Group Working function to support effective case recording and management when working with sibling groups.
