Event Description This 10 minute online learning module is for all staff at West Sussex County Council and explores the topic of Mindfulness. Mindfulness is a form of awareness that aims at focussing on living in the present moment. Over time, and with a bit of practice, Mindfulness can help you improve your physical and mental wellbeing as well as boost your performance at work. If you are interested and would like to begin incorporating Mindfulness into your daily routine you may want to try Headspace for some free guided sessions.
Training Objectives The aim of this online learning course module is to introduce you to Mindfulness, what it is and how it forms part of your everyday life. You will also look at the benefits it can bring you in both your personal and professional life. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt in this online learning module you will be able to;

  • Have an awareness of what Mindfulness is.
  • Know the benefits of using Mindfulness in your everyday life.
  • Incorporate some simple mindfulness techniques into your daily routine.
