Treating People as Individuals

Event Description We have made a commitment to treat people as individuals. That means recognising what makes them a unique person and adapting the way we work with them to reflect that. It is based upon the simple principle that we exist to serve everyone in West Sussex. This module uses case studies to illustrate these points.
Training Objectives The aim of this course is to introduce you to WSCC's Treating People as Individuals policy.
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this course, you will be able to:

  • Explain why this policy is so important for our community, for us as an organisation and for you as an individual
List the Council's partners and describe what they do
  • Explore how the policy can help people to make the most of West Sussex and, at the same time, help us to meet some of our main legal obligations
