Event Description This two full day webinar is suitable for deputies, leaders and managers in early years settings.
What does effective leadership look like in the EYFS?
This motivating and content-rich webinar gives early years leaders the opportunity to reflect and explore aspects of early years leadership as well as identifying ways forward with regard to themselves as a leader and their impact upon their staff team. Content considers what makes a great early years leader; the benefits of understanding ourselves as leaders; leadership styles and strategies to build and influence our team.
This webinar is hosted on Zoom. Please download the free Zoom app onto your computer or device BEFORE the session.

You must have access to a computer or tablet, the internet and a web camera to participate. Mobile phones are not suitable due to the small screen.

Training objectives The aims of this course are to:
  • inspire leaders to be the best they can be and motivate their staff team.
  • support leaders and managers to understand and outwork their leadership roles and responsibilities effectively affirming practice and challenging it where necessary.
  • reflect on strengths and challenges of different ‘drivers’ and understand different leadership styles and the impact they may have on the staff team..
  • consider strategies to address barriers to development and change.
