Modern Slavery, including County Lines Webinar for UASC

Event Code CSA 21/536
Event Description This 2-hour webinar is for Carers and Professionals involved with the safeguarding and wellbeing of Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children.

It will provide you with the opportunity to explore the issues surrounding Modern Slavery, Serious Organised Crime (SOC) and ‘County Lines’, all of which are exploitative and harmful crimes that target vulnerable children and adults, such as Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children, as their victims.

You will be supported to develop the means by which to identify these types of exploitations and the knowledge and skills to act in order to safeguard young people and their communities.

This is a local as well as a national issue and, as such, is a priority for the West Sussex Safer Communities Partnership as children across West Sussex may be at risk of this type of exploitation.
