Event Description |
![]() This two hour webinar via Zoom is for those who work with Adults or Children (not Babies) who have Epilepsy and will require the administration of either Buccal Midazolam or Rectal Diazepam. This is an opportunity to refresh previous knowledge and skills or gain the knowledge and skills on the types of epileptic seizures, care of an adult or child during a seizure and the different types of medication associated with epilepsy. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to administer Buccal Midazolam and Rectal Diazepam. You must have completed the ‘Epilepsy Awareness online learning module’ prior to this event or attended 'Epilepsy Advanced' within the last two years. Also, you should have attended a Medication Administration Level 2 event in the last 2 years. |
