![]() This Safer Recruitment webinar, delivered over two half days, is for managers in Early Help or Children's Social and Residential Care who are responsible for recruiting staff who work with children and young people, or who are involved in providing services for them. It seeks to assist you in raising your awareness and improving your practice throughout the interview and recruitment selection process of new staff in order that you maximise the opportunity for hiring suitable candidates within the wider context of safeguarding. During the course delegates will complete a multiple choice assessment to gain their certification. Please note delegates need to book onto and attend both half days to complete the course and assessment. The event is an interactive Skype session. When you book on to this event, you will be sent; a confirmation email from learninganddevelopment@westsussex.gov.uk and an Outlook calendar appointment for an interactive online workshop. Please download and add the meeting invite into your Outlook calendar to join the event. You will find this attached to your confirmation email. When it’s time to attend the online workshop, open the appointment in your calendar and click the “Join online meeting” link to join the call. |
