Training objectives The aim of this course is for you to further develop your knowledge of attachment, and be able to identify and assess attachment difficulties in children and families within the Signs of Safety model.

On completing the course you will have practical strategies/tools to assess and support carers/families.

You will have an understanding of brain development in early years and trauma in adults and children and consider how this can inform and develop social work practice to create better, longer term outcomes for children and young people in West Sussex.
