Ladder Safety Training (The Work At Height Regulations 2005)

Event Description This half day course run by Caretaking and Premises Support is for all staff who are involved or could be involved with or who manage staff (Duty Holders) working at heights. As covered under the Working at Heights Regulations 2005.

Working at any height to carry out the most simple of tasks can be hazardous. This course assists in identifying hazards, choice of equipment and how to check and maintain equipment. It will also identify when, where and how the risks arise.

There will be a 20 question multiple choice assessment and practical inspection at the end of the course and you will be expected to score 75% or over to pass.
