Kitchen & Catering Supervisors Training in Social Care

Event Description This whole day course is for WSCC staff and will cover the principles of the importance of maintaining “due diligence” book work and keeping your Safer Food, Better Business packs up to date, along with healthy eating, portion sizes.

The event aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of; the importance of keeping food safety management, records as part of a legal requirement and adhering to the allergen regulation. And help you ensure you are meeting people’s special diet nutritional requirements, by offering choice and variety through a well-planned menu.

These topics are regarded by the Food Standards Agency as being important to understanding and maintaining good practice, when completing book work and planning menus to ensure safe food. The event will provide you with an in-depth knowledge on food safety management systems.
