Signs of Safety

Event Description This is a two day targeted course and is only available to managers and practitioners in Children's Social Care (including R&A, IFS, CDT's, CLA teams, FRT Over 10's, Integrated Services, Fostering and Residential) as well as Safeguarding Unit (CPA's and IRO's), FRT Under 10's and Think Family Teams who are working with children where there are concerns for their safety and wellbeing.

It is the standard training module used to deliver the signs of safety approach to practitioners, supervisors and managers working with children and families where there are concerns about their safety and well being.

It uses live case mapping with the trainer using Appreciative Inquiry and Solution Focused questioning to demonstrate the signs of safety approach.

Please note: This course is open to the above groups only, therefore some other government applicants may not be suitable to attend the course and their applications may be cancelled.
