Food Safety and Hygiene Level 2 - Royal Society for Public Health

Event Description This one day event will cover the principles of food hygiene for people who are food handlers.

The event aims to provide you with the knowledge and understanding of; the importance of food hygiene, associated food safety hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems.

These topics are regarded by the Food Standards Agency as being important to understanding and maintaining good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food. The event will provide you with an in-depth knowledge on food safety and updated legislation
There is a multiple choice examination at the end of the session. If you require any extra assistance with completing the examination please inform Learning and Development administration.

Food Safety and Hygiene level 2 will need to be refreshed/updated every 3 years.
