Mosaic Module 2 - Searching for Records

Event Description This online learning module is mandatory for anyone who requires access to Mosaic.

It will explore how to search for a Person Record and the information that can be found on the Person Summary Page.

You will also discover how to search the Mosaic system for Group Records, Case Notes and Documents.
Training Objectives The aim of this module is to enable you to search for records on Mosaic, including Person records and Group records, as well as search for specific Case Notes and Documents. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt in this module, you will be able to:

  • Find person records using a range of search terms.
  • Employ search tools that will make it easier to find information quickly.
  • Demonstrate how to find information on records that have already been set up on Mosaic.

    Course Pre-Requisites This online learning course is mandatory for anyone who requires access to Mosaic.

    Depending on which level of access you require you will need to do the following:

  • For Read Only access you will need to complete modules 1 and
  • For Read Only Plus access you will need to complete modules 1, 2, 3 and 4
  • For full access to Mosaic you must complete all modules 1 to 9*

    • *Anyone in Children’s Services should complete the Using Groups in Mosaic module.

    *Anyone with a lead role on Mosaic i.e. Manager Senior Practitioner or anyone who will use the virtual reassignment worker must also complete module 14. 
    Course Instructions This module is best accessed using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.
