Event Description This 16 minute online learning course is for West Sussex County Council managers and staff on the essentials of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the workplace.
Training Objectives The aim of this course is to help you identify the need for personal protective equipment (PPE), and recognise types, uses, maintenance and storage for PPE. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt within this online module you will be able to;

  • Understand what PPE is.
  • Recognise the different types of PPE.
  • Identify the responsibilities of employees and employers.
  • State the benefits and limitations of PPE.
  • Correctly use and store PPE.
  • Understand what to do if you have faulty equipment.
