Safeguarding Adults - Basic Awareness

Event Description This online learning module is for all staff.

It will increase your knowledge and understanding of; what is meant by safeguarding adults, the three key test, your responsibilities and when and how to raise a referral.

It includes the knowledge level for the Care Certificate Standard 10.

Training Objectives The aim of this module is to raise your awareness of safeguarding adults.
 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt in this module you will be able to:

  • Explain what is meant by Safeguarding Adults.
  • Identify your own responsibilities in relation to safeguarding adults.
  • Explain the three key test and how it applies to safeguarding.
  • Describe how to raise a safeguarding referral and the key points to consider.
