Event Description This 10 minute Cyber Security module explores what Personal Data is, and some of the key implications of the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR)
Training Objectives This aim of this online Cybersecurity module is to support you in gaining an awareness of what Personal Data is and some of the key implications of the GDPR, which came into effect in 2018, as part of the UK's updated Data Protection Act.
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt in this online module you will be able to;

  • Identify what is and what isn't classed as personal data.
  • Recognise different types of personal data and which data can be considered as sensitive or Special Category Data.
  • Have an awareness of the penalties the Council face, if Personal data is mishandled.
