Lone Working For Managers

Event Description This course is for West Sussex County Council Managers of staff who work alone. The course will help you to identify the risks of lone working and the control measures which will minimise risk to your staff
Training Objectives The aim of the course is to raise the awareness of Managers of their responsibilities and assist them in identifying and managing the risks. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this course you will be able to:

  • Define the term' lone worker'
  • State the responsibilities of the employee and the manager in relation to lone working
  • Identify the hazards and evaluate the potential risks of a particular role
  • Identify the precautions required to minimise risk
