Lone Working for Employee

Event Description This course is for West Sussex County Council employees who work alone. The course will raise your awareness of the risks of lone working and assist you in identifying ways to work safely.
Training Objectives The aim of the course is to give you an insight into the risks associated with lone working and point out control measures and practical safety tips to minimise these risks. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this course you will be able to:

  • Define the term 'lone worker'
  • State the duties of employers and employees related to lone working
  • Identify the hazards related to lone working
  • State control measures and practical safety tips to minimise risks
