Stress Management Interactive - For Managers

Event Description This course for West Sussex County Council managers and team supervisors is about how the pressures from our everyday lives which, when added to the pressures from work, can lead to individuals suffering from stress related illnesses. You will also work through a stress risk assessment process to help you understand the level of stress within the team in which you work.
Training Objectives The aim of this course is to develop the manager's ability to identify where employees may be suffering from work related sress symptoms and then review the cause(s) and develop workplace risk reduction and stress reduction measures. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this course you will be able to:

  • Recognise signs that indicate a person may be suffering from stress related symptoms
  • Use a range of tools to enable individuals to assess their own stress risk and identify appropriate coping strategies
  • Carry out a simple stress risk assessment and deploy appropriate controls to manage the risk
