Dealing With Childcare Enquiries

Event Description This module is for IPEH (Integrated Prevention and Earliest Help Service) staff working within hubs, centres and Central Operations. It explains childcare options, how to access childcare information and how to deal with enquiries from parents and carers.
Training Objectives The aim of this module is to help you understand the importance of your role in providing high quality information relating to childcare, to parents and carers. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this module you will be able to:

  • Describe the different types of childcare available
  • Help parents and carers access childcare that meets their or their child's needs
  • Provide high quality information
  • Recognise the benefits of using registered, high quality, childcare
