Food Hygiene Level One

Event Description This two hour module for WSCC and PVI staff looking for an introduction to food hygiene will give you an understanding of the necessary steps to undertake whilst preparing food.
Training Objectives The aim of this course is to provide a basic knowledge of and the skills required in Food Safety in the workplace. 
Learning Outcomes If you apply what you have learnt on this course, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate how to keep yourself clean and hygienic
  • Demonstrate how to keep your work area clean
  • Identify how food becomes contaminated and your role in reducing contamination
