Introduction To Safer Care

Event Description This online learning module forms part of the pathway course for Level 1 Foster Carers and must be completed prior to attending the Safer Care course. It explores the complex and demanding task of caring for another child alongside some of the issues that might arise using a series of scenarios. It is therefore important that you keep yourself, your family and the children you care for, safe.
Training Objectives The aim of this module is to help you to consider how to protect yourself, your family and the children you look after as well as helping you understand your accountability and how to protect yourself from allegations.
