This two day online webinar via Teams is for Managers, Social Workers and Early Help Practitioners who are working with children and families. Foster Carers and other staff who are undertaking direct work with children and families are also welcome to participate.

The course seeks to support you in increasing your knowledge and the practical tools that you can apply so that you can improve your assessment of attachment in service users and support reparative actions.

The webinar will provide you with an overview of attachment theory and the main focus will be on assessing relationships and attachment, using the Signs Of Safety approach and practical strategies in order to support parents and carers to strengthen their family relationships.
The aim of this course is for you to further develop your knowledge of attachment, and be able to identify and assess attachment difficulties in children and families within the Signs of Safety model.

On completing the course you will have practical strategies/tools to assess and support carers/families.
