This is a course for those who work with Adults or Children (not Babies) who have Epilepsy and will require the administration of either Buccal Midazolam or Rectal Diazepam.
This is an opportunity to refresh previous knowledge and skills or gain the knowledge and skills on the types of epileptic seizures, care of an adult or child during a seizure and the different types of medication associated with epilepsy. You will also have the opportunity to learn how to administer Buccal Midazolam and Rectal Diazepam. Please ensure you have checked the pre-requisites before booking this course. |

The aim of this course is to provide you with a greater awareness of epilepsy and the process and procedure in providing the medication needed when an adult or child experiences an epileptic seizure.
