Course / Webinar
This short course via Zoom is to help you identify problems and challenges in people’s lives who have the Asperger's condition. As there is evidence of complete misunderstanding and incorrect assessment, this learning intervention will provide the support and confidence for staff to enable you to sign off your responsibilities under the Care Act 2014.
The aim of this course is to enable you to identify problems and challenges in people’s lives who have the Asperger’s condition.
If you apply what you have learnt in this course you will be able to:

  • Describe the full autism spectrum.
  • Recognise the particular difficulties that someone who has Asperger’s Syndrome might experience.
  • Explain what type of things autistic people say and how to help.
  • Be informed about where to get further information and resources.
  • You must have completed the Introduction to Autism eLearning module to be able to participate on this training. If you have not done so, your booking will be cancelled.
