Assessment and Analysis (Module 2)

Webinar
This 3 hour online Skype workshop is for Children’s Social Care professionals, social workers, senior/advanced practitioners and managers, and those involved in assessment work. Before attending this workshop, you must have completed the Assessment, Critical Thinking, Planning and Intervention workshop.

This workshop will enable you to stop, think and recognise that assessment and analysis must identify, evaluate and respond to harm and need for our children, as well as risk. It will build on the areas covered in the previous workshop "Assessment, Critical Thinking, Planning and Intervention", paying attention to moving from gathering information to thinking analytically and writing analytically in assessment. Analytical/critical and reflective thinking are central to good assessment in practice. This workshop will draw on learning material from Research in Practice and your understanding of what constitutes a good analytical assessment.

When you book your place, an Outlook calendar appointment called "Assessment and Analysis (Module 2)” for the online workshop will be emailed to you from West Sussex Online Learning Gateway CPD Online. Please open the calendar attachment and save it to your calendar. The attachment contains the link you need to join the session.
