Transport Operator Safeguarding Training

Course
This half day course is aimed at transport staff working with children and vulnerable adults. The course seeks to provide staff with an awareness of safeguarding issues and an understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities.
The aim of this course is to increase awareness of safeguarding, identify whose responsibility it is, identify the different types of abuse and what to look out for, as well as how to raise a concern if you are worried about the safety of an adult or child.
If you apply what you have learnt on this course, you will be able to:

  • Recognise what Safeguarding is
  • Identify whose responsibility safeguarding is
  • Raise a concern if you are worried about the safety of an adult or child
  • Recognise the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)
  • Identify expected behaviour when transporting vulnerable passengers.
  • You must be transport staff/operator working with children and vulnerable adults.
