Event Description

This two hour, online meeting is for Inclusion/Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinators (INCOs/SENDCOs) in early years settings.

It will provide you with updates, information, and guidance to support you in your role. You will be part of a group with direct access to your Early Years and Childcare Advisor(s) (EYCAs) who will lead the session.

You must have access to a computer or tablet, the internet, a web camera with microphone and have downloaded the (free) Microsoft Teams app to able to participate. Mobile phones are acceptable, but not recommended due to the small screen.

Training Objectives

The event will focus on enabling you in identifying and supporting the needs of vulnerable children and children with SEND.

They will also provide you with opportunities to meet with other INCOs/SENDCOs to discuss practice and share ideas.

Learning Outcomes

If you apply what you have learnt in this meeting you will be able to:

Have an awareness of national and local developments and understand how these will impact on practice.

Explore themes which can support you to review and develop the quality and inclusivity of your provision.

Meet with others in a similar situation to yourself, to share ideas and support each other.

This course has been arranged for Early Years settings. Other groups are welcome to attend, but please read the course costs below before booking.
