Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA)

Guided Learning Session
This three hour guided learning session is for partners and seeks to support you in in understanding the profile of the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA) and how their implementation and coordination monitors and manages the potential risk presented by offenders who reside within the community. This is a joint course with Brighton & Hove and East Sussex areas.
The aim of this guided learning session is to support you in raising your awareness of the agencies involved in the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA), the roles and responsibilities of each of these agencies and how your role and the role of your agency fit within this.
If you apply what you have learnt in this guided learning session you will be able to;

  • Identify the agencies involved in the Multi Agency Public Protection Arrangements (MAPPA)
  • Consider the roles and responsibilities of each agency.
  • Identify your own/agency responsibility.
