This 2 day course provides you with an introduction of the BRIEF solution focused approach. It explores ways of finding solutions to every day issues and challenges that we are presented with when working with children and their families where there are complex needs. The solution approach enables families to achieve manageable goals through their preferred future. During this course a number of methods will be used to facilitate learning including role play, group exercises and working examples of practice. It will enable those using the signs of safety approach to develop 'best questions'.

The aim of this course is to give you an overview of the Solution Focused process underpinned by theory and best practice and how to use questioning in work with children and families in an effective ways.
This is an introductory course which is designed to give you a working start in the skills and techniques of a Solution Focused Approach which can then be developed and embedded through practice experience. |
